Directions from the South and South East

Top

  • Leave M1 at Junction 24 and take A50 towards Stoke on Trent/Alton Towers .
  • Follow the A50 for approximately 20 minutes (about 20 miles).
  • At roundabout do not take A515 south go straight over on A50.
  • After ½ mile take A515 slip road towards Ashbourne.
  • Take A515 exits at the two roundabouts and continue on A515 to Ashbourne.
  • At the first roundabout go straight over (Homebase, M&S will be on your left).
  • At the second roundabout go straight over.
  • At the third roundabout turn left.
  • Follow this road to the T junction and turn right.
  • Follow this road through Ashbourne centre with shops on the right and left.
  • Straight at the traffic lights and bear left up hill following A515 towards Buxton.
  • Travel about 6 miles on A515 past Tissington.
  • Take left turn towards Alstonfield.
  • At bottom of valley (Dovedale) turn left to Milldale.
  • In Milldale the road bears right.
  • Turn sharp right at this point taking the small road up hill past Polly’s Café (on left).
  • Valley View is the last house on the left before the road becomes unsuitable for motors.

Directions from the West, South West and North West

Top

  • Leave M6 at junction 15 and take A50 towards Derby and M1.
  • After about 25 minutes (approximately 20 miles) take slip road for A515 to Ashbourne.
  • Take A515 exits at the two roundabouts and continue on A515 to Ashbourne.
  • At the first roundabout go straight over (Homebase, M&S will be on your left).
  • At the second roundabout go straight over.
  • At the third roundabout turn left.
  • Follow this road to the T junction and turn right.
  • Follow this road through Ashbourne centre with shops on the right and left.
  • Straight at the traffic lights and bear left up hill following A515 towards Buxton.

Top

  • Leave M1 at junction 28 taking A38 towards Derby.
  • Take A38 all the way to Derby.
  • Go on A38 Derby Ringroad until junction with A52 towards Ashbourne (total journey on A38 is about 20 miles).
  • Take A52 to Ashbourne (about 12 miles).
  • At roundabout on outskirts of Ashbourne continue on A52 until next roundabout, which is junction with A515. 
  • Take 3rd exit A515 towards Ashbourne centre (Homebase and M&S will be to the left).
  • At the second roundabout go straight over.
  • At the third roundabout turn left.
  • Follow this road to the T junction and turn right.
  • Follow this road through Ashbourne centre with shops on the right and left.
  • Straight at the traffic lights and bear left up hill following A515 towards Buxton.
